Dear valued Sirs\Madams, Namaste!

Nepal Matri Griha energetically presents the equitable facilities to underprivileged people, since its establishment in 2000. Nepal, the peaceful, beautiful a small country in the globe, it is a multi-ethnic and multi –cultural country and cultural traditional. By the by, I would like to humble congratulate all the intact NMG team, board members, donors and friends for huge attainment of the organization. The foremost program areas of NMG are human rights, women empowerment, educational quality development and health awareness and a special agenda for the person s living in mental and physical challenges. No pain that we suffer, no trial that we experience is wasted. In the beginning, NMG has been working with the street children of Kathmandu but afterwards it expanded its programs in various arenas whose mission is to develop sustainable systems for enhancement of their overall quality of lives.

NGOs, indeed, offer opportunities for civil society to arrange and guarantee equitabilities and universal provision of effective basic service through social mobilization and their significance for the empowerment and facilitating the local communities have been very much appreciated and local resources have been mobilized with their own initiatives. However, NGOs addressing issues interconnected to socio-economic development and community mobilization became broad and active only after the restoration of democracy in 1990.

NMG associates with all governmental agencies, INGOs, local NGOs and people of different tasks. At the moment, we are in difficult situation in terms of political aspects. The government is unable to comply with its obligations towards its citizens, to the international human rights issues as the humanitarian laws. Now we need to exert our effort on the saving our beautiful country and her innocent peace loving people. The focus in this year will remain on developing and varying the organisation and its administration tools, so that NMG in the next 2 – 3 years will be equipped to meet the changed conditions. Particular emphasis will be placed in the coming years on tight financial control, focussing on programs in accordance with the organisation’s strategic goals.

Many children are enforced to live in threat, compulsion, exploitation abuse and different kinds of risk. I hope we will be able to impart our selfless service among the poor, needy and disadvantaged people who are alienated, exploited and abused. NMG provides chances for action to the people, who accept a shared responsibility for community sustainable development. NMG promotes understanding and dialogue between people.

Success in life and career depends increasingly upon the enlargement of a global perspective. Therefore NMG plays significant role in bridging the wide gap of gender discrimination by offering special opportunities to girl children, which comprises more than half of country’s population. Similarly NMG is working with lots of grass root level organisation and complementing its services where needed. Besides, NMG is implementing various development projects like: rehabilitation home, primary school, therapy centres and much more other result oriented activities like: income generating training, food supporting, scholarship, medical support, family planning, counselling etc. NMG has a strategy to enlarge its program widening its network and implementation unit in all five development region till 2011 A.D. And also we are conducting feasibility study to found a new unit in Kaski district of western region of Nepal.

For Volunteer friends-I trust the time you expend for supporting and assisting with us would be more enjoyable and satisfying. I am assured the splendid experiences you get after the ending point of the project will further improve your career. It is always striving for achieving the best out come of them. It keeps moving forward in the quest for quality with realization that it is the most excellent way for an organization to serve the society.

Lastly I sincerely extend my humble thanks to the valued donor friends who overtly abetting us to support the poor people of Nepal. And I am personally very much happy with the efforts that have been made by my team. I hope, all over again the NMG team would be doing for best result in the days to approach.
